In order to comply with all state laws, Woodbridge Investments obtains a court order for an “absolute assignment” of either lottery or structured settlement payments. This process usually takes 60 – 90 days.

Woodbridge will on occasion lend money “pre advanced” prior to receiving the court ordered assignment usually for a period of 60 – 90 days or until funding. The “pre advance” is repaid in full upon closing.

Promissory Note Investments are not secured by court order nor are they backed by the full faith and credit of State Lottery Commissions or A+ rated insurance companies. Woodbridge Investments will guarantee the repayments on demand on any Promissory Note that defaults within 10 days of default.
